American Giants recently ran another sale for a Muffler Man, this time one of the female versions. The giant was located at the old Stan the Tire Man location in Mt Vernon, IL. This particular gal is unique in that she still had her original shirt and skirt and comes with a full and rich Uniroyal and International Fiberglass history. The giant was used as part of a roving promotion program in the late 60s for Uniroyal Tire and ended up in Southern IL when the program ended. She was purchased by Stan the Tire Man business and even stood with a Bunyan Muffler Man for a few years in the 70s. She was eventually moved to Mt Vernon and stood there till 2015 when she was sold and moved to California. She was fully restored in California and stood in Hayward till she was sold and returned to Mt Vernon in 2021. Her current owners in Mt Vernon sold her in September of 2024 and she will be relocating to Texas.
