MUFFLER MAN MAP
Roadside America for years now has had a map of all known muffler man locations on their website. Recently they updated this map and added all new head icons so you can tell what kind of muffler man it is just by looking at the icon. The map shows Bunyans, half wits, uniroyal gals, indians, cowboys, service men, mutants and even big johns! They did an awesome job in adding new sightings for this map and getting rid of some of the older long gone or miss mapped muffler men. A few years ago I announced I was working on my own map, it is still a work in progress. I may release it one day but there really is no nead because the guys at Roadside America have done a fantastic job on theirs.

Right on Stone. I leave on the 19th to see the few you pointed out in Chicago and St. Louis. Thank man for your work on this.
Looking forward to seeing your map.
Here in Columbus, Ohio, we have some 10 foot tall Cowboys sitting on a rail fence and I believe they were placed there for a chain of restaurants called Best Western Pancake House. I have a few photos, if you’re interested.
Thanks so much for sharing the info about the cowboys. I have been to Columbus and I remember seeing the statues your talking about. There are 10 or so that exist and most of them can be found in Ohio still. Thanks for the sighting tip!
Thanks for the heads up. I’ve been up to Ohio to visit your seated cowboys. Very cool and something very specific to your state. Thanks for sharing.
New one as of 12/21/15 in Tucson AZ owned by Cummings Plumbing Heating and Cooling!! We now have 2 in Tucson, Paul Bunyon on Stone Avenue and ours!!
Congrats on your new Muffler Man! Looking forward to stopping by to check him out on our next trip out that way.
There is a muffler man in Springfield IL and in Livingston IL.
I took a picture of an Indian Chief at a Chevrolet Dealer in Clinton OK a few years ago.
Could I get a map?
Check out the Paul bunion in cour’d alene ID. I didn’t see it on your map.
I’m looking for the diner in Ohio that has the muffler men. Can anyone help?
Wagon Wheel in East Madison, OH had one.
There’s one in Manistique, MI. 1000 W Lakeshore Dr.
Is the Denver (5220 Federal Blvd) a muffler man.
He is a knock off made by a different company a few years back.
Hi,
The Livermore Rodeo has used one of these Giants for 50 plus years. They would like to find another one so they have 2. They display one on the east bound lanes on the freeway that passes through town, and would like to have another on the opposite side of town.
Please let me know if we can get another Cowboy’s Muffler Man.
Thanks
Norman Nather
can you email me? joel@usagiants.com Thanks
Grahamland in Bolton, NC, 3 uniroyal girls are listed but there is also a Paul Bunyon & blue ox. Looks very recently restored but not sure how long he’s been there.
thinking of stopping here in July.. on the way to the Beach
Unfortunately I cannot open the card in Austria. Is there a way to do this?
Best regards, Kurt Moser
When I was a kid in North Vancouver, BC, there was a Wagon Ho restaurant with the sitting Pioneer Giant and Wagon roof. Unfortunately it was only around a couple of years though I believe one of the giant statues relocated to a large residential property.
I often go down to Sumas, Washington where the Ship Happens outlet has a giant gold panning man sitting on a rock mounted above their sign. As well a new gas station opened nearby it with a fiberglass green dinosaur on its site. (Couldn’t figure out how to attach the photos)
Really have enjoyed the YouTube episodes on these gentle giants.
