How you can help American Giants
When I first started tracking down muffler men I had no idea that I would ever have a website let alone youtube episodes. However in time these both materialized and it has been a blast not just going on these trips but sharing my findings with those who may not have the time (or energy) to dig into muffler men history. This website and the youtube episodes I make are for you to enjoy and I am happy to provide the information I dig up and my latest discoveries. However it has come at a price and up until this point these episodes have been funded 100% from my pocket. As trips become more frequent and the need for better equipment has grown I’ve decided to give others the chance to get involved and help out. If you want to be a part of these episodes please feel free to make a donation. All the donations will go towards future episodes and will help with gas and equipment costs. Thanks so much and I hope you continue to enjoy American Giants! — Joel Baker –
Unfortunately donations are not tax deductible at this time.
I love following your stories through Ron Warnick’s Route 66 News blog.
I’m sure you probably have already seen this story, but just in case you have not….

Thanks for watching American Giants and for the link. I was actually able to go out there and see the Porsche Guy in person 2 days before you posted your comment. Episode #7 came out today, enjoy.
There was a muffler man, painted in saints colors that stood at Clearview Auto Title and Notary at 2122 Clearview Parkway in Metairie, Louisiana. He was blown down by hurricane Isaac and lost his head and arm. The head was found, but the arm is still missing. The owner hopes to have him restored.
That muffler man was one of my favorites!!
We had one of the giant gals,In a bikini, and had a crown on her head and was called Marge the Muffler Queen for a muffler company. She was last seen in the movie Indian Runner as a prop in the middle of a lake . Missing her crown. This movie was Shan Penn’s directorial debate. That was in 1991 That is the last time she was seen. If anyone knows what happened to her . Email me
Based on this comment, she’s now in Blackwood, NJ, and is known as the Nitro Girl.
I think she is in Lyles tire shop on 84th st ..

Hello. I was wondering if you can tell me about the Fiberglass Giants that appear in the movie “Nothing But Trouble”? They appear at 1hour 18 minutes into the film. I have some screen shots if that would help.
Cheers
